Hi I am trying to find a family of WOOD, Tracey b 6/3/73, Susan b2/6/69, Kenneth b30/9/74, Donna b26/8/71 & Julie b12/12/67. Their father is Willliam Arthur Wood 'Barney', and their mother is Irene Wood nee BURSTON. Irene has a brother - Edgar . They grew up in Oldbury, West Midlands, but later believe to have moved to Telford area. I don't know if the 5 siblings kept the Wood name, but i cannot find any leads whatsoever and hope that someone knows them and could contact me please. |

Hello Teresa I had an uncle called Barney he was brother to my father who was born in sheffield. he had altogether 18 br0thers and sisters among them a beatrice and matilda their mother and father were sarah matilda nee stenton and george wood. your's is the only Barney i HAVE COME ACROSS WHILE SEARCHING AND DOESN'T COME UP ON CENSUS the family was very large and a lot died young I do believe that barney and Jud another brother went in the forces in the war. we may have a link Alice |
