I am trying to locate the place and date of death for maria Johnson nee Hollingworth born eckington derbyshire 1826. She married John Johnson in 1846 at Kimberworth Rotherham.The last trace of her was on the 1881 census when she was visiting her daughter in Leeds and her two younger sons were staying in Sheffield with their step father Joseph White. I can only assume that her marriage to John Johnson had ended by this time so am not certain what name she was using at her time of death. Perhaps someone has come across her whilst researching their family history and can solve the mystery of the missing maria. |
