Im looking for information on a Sarah Edwards born in 1841 in London. Her father was called John Edwards born in 1813 in Bethnal Green, East London. She went on to have sons..Frank 1856, William 1860 (my 3xgreat grandfather), Frederick 1863, Sidney 1869, and then daughters Cecilia 1871, Hannah 1874 and Florence 1879... strange thing is all the children have the surname Edwards except Hannah who's surname is Hatch. Sarah's maiden name was obviously Edwards and was her married name...thou i havent been able to find the husbands name. No birth certificate of the children gives a fathers name. So have you come across Edwards with a Hatch relation...According to the 1871 census Sarah is listed as a Niece to the head of a Hatch family...gets stranger by the minute..if anyone can shed some light PLEASE!! |
