I am trying find more about my Grandfather Frederick Charles Williams, he was born in 1889 at Zion Cottages, Dartmouth, Devon. His father was John Williams his occupation was a plumber and mother was Elizabeth Chubb. My Grandfather met my Grandmother Bertha Brock at Royal Naval college Dartmouth where he was working repairing uniforms and making furniture. My Grandmother was a lovely young girl who working as a cook. They started working there when this was first opened, and future King was studying there with many other prominent. They finally married and had 8 children. Have tried to find a photograph of the staff there, but no luck. Does this throw any light on this interesting subject. Many regards Lesley |
