TRYING TO TRACE MY FATHERS FORBEARERS HIS NAME WAS WILLIAM EDWIN COOK.I BELIEVE HE WAS BORN IN GLOUCESTER ABOUT 1888,HE HAD SISTERS,NELLIE & POLLIE,& FANNIE,THEY CAME TO LIVE IN BIRMINGHAM WHEN THEY WERE YOUNG.MY FATHER JOINED THE ARMY AND SERVED IN INDIA PRIOR TO WORLD WAR ONE,HE CAME BACK TO SERVE IN THE WAR,HIS BROTHER TOM IMMIGRATED TO AMERICA I BELIEVE ABOUT 1919,THEY LIVED IN HANDSWORTH AREA OF BIRMINGHAM
