Trying to find Orrell

Hi all Orrell families! Whilst I am slowly getting there with my Orrell family, there are a few gaps which are proving hard to fill. I'll start my mother. Marjorie Orrell 1917 - 1998 Thomas Edward Orrell - her father 28.9.1885 to 18.11.1926 Thomas Orrell - her grandfather 24.4.1860 to ????. Ralph Orrell - her gt grandfather 14.1.1825 to 8.2.1897 James Orrell her GtGt Grandfather c1801 to ????? All lived in the Bolton area for most of their lives. There are loads of Thomas Orrells and James Orrells in the death indexes, but if anyone out there can narrow it down somewhat, I would be most grateful. To give a better fix, here are the ladies they married: Thomas Edward Orrell married Florence Haslem in Bolton 10.6.1914. Their daughter Marjorie was my mother. Thomas Orrell married Catherine Howard 24.5.1885. Catherine was probably born in 1864, but there are two or three Catherine's about at that time. Tracing which is the right Catherine would be a bonus. Her father was Edward Howard. Ralph Orrell married twice, firstly to Mary Slater 21.9.1846. She died 5.8.1871. His second wife was Mary Ann Hesketh whom he married on 11/12/1875. Mary Ann died Sept 1905 Bolton 8c228 James Orrell was born c1800 & married Sarah Green c1825. I can't trace their respective deaths very easily, as there are a lot of James Orrell & Sarah Orrell that could fit the likely death dates. If there's anybody out there with an Orrell interest that could help me do the final bits of the chain, I would be most grateful to hear from you. Many thanks. Miles Snow
