Trying to find info on my CLARK relations. I have find my GGfather,Horatio in the 1841 census for Jersey,Channel Islands. At the time he was boarding with his brothers James (12), John (10) and William (6). There is no record of the parents William Clark and Sarah (nee GIBSON). James and John were born in England, Horatio and William in Jersey. Sarah may have come from Ireland or Scotland and I think William did as well. Would like to find out where they came from and there they went. Horatio was a sailor and came to Australia around 1850's,settleing in Melbourne,Victoria. Would be grateful for any help. |
