Elizabeth Davies born 1872 in Burton on Trent was my great grandmother and she married Charles Frederick Playle in Oxford in 1895. I have tried searching for her parents and came across what looked like a match in someone's family tree, however I have not been able to verify the names he has and despite sending him a message and info. I have not had a reply. On his tree Elizabeth's parents are given as Frederick Salt Davies born 1843 and Eliza Meech born in 1844. She was born in Beaminster and he in Leamington. However I have not managed to find anything to link them together or to my great grandmother. Can anyone help please or come up with other likely parents to Elizabeth? |
