I am trying to trace a Gwendoline Scott Robertson who was born in India in 1885. She is the daughter of General Sir George Scott Robertson KCSI and one time Liberal MP who died in 1916. Scott is a family name orginating in Orkney. I need answers to the following questions - did she ever marry and what was her date of death possibly in the forties or fifties. George had two brothers and three sisters. In 1921 Gwendoline was living at East Park Farm, Handcross, Sussex. She also had a residence at Mitre Court Buildings, Temple, London. Her Uncle's (the elder Brother) son I understand to have been living in the Harrow area in the 50's. Any help would be appreciated. Ian |
