Hi I am trying to find any information on my Great Grandfather (and Great Grandmother) James Brown was born in Scotland around the 1838 to 1842's. I am saying this as he married Elizabeth Peebles 23 October 1871 - Glasgow. They had three children that I know of: James William, Hugh James and Jessie. James William was born on 1 April 1875 - Govan and the family moved to New Zealand when he was approx. 6 weeks old. The two other children were born in New Zealand. I believe they lived at Onehung in Auckland. Any info would be really great. Thanks Carolyn |
