I'm looking for any info on my gg-grandmother Elizabeth Carter born c.1834/5 probably in Oxfordshire and her family. On the marriage certificate in 1858 to Henry Scragg, her father is listed as Charles Carter, Labourer and her age was given as 24. Her address was Broken Hayes, Oxford an area which is now known as Gloucester Green. If there is anyone who also has links with any Carters in Oxford it would be great to hear from you. Regards Cheryl |
