Trying to find Moore

Little is known of my great grandfather, Richard Moore. His marriage certificate states he was born in Toronto, Canada in 1865c, being born in Canada may be false. He was a photographer and artist and he was mentioned in 'The Run of the Marthagui (guy/gi) as an artist. He married a Margaret Maria Tierney in Australia and had quite a few children. Stories have his sons being refused entry and service here in Australia due to their Aboriginal features. I know Richard was known as Darkie (I know, it's terrible) but it is something that was related to me. I know one of his sons, William, married an Aboriginal woman by the name of Alice and they lived in the Bathurst/Orange areas of NSW. I guess I am hoping someone out there may know something more about this man. I also know he had a photographic studio in Dubbo, NSW, it being named 'Stirling Studios'. On his death certificate it states his father as being Richard also, and his mother's name was Lola (no, she wasn't a showgirl, sorry, it amused me :) ) Please don't hesitate to contact me if you may have any information about this bloke. Fingers crossed GR cheers Ngaire
