Trying to find any info on a William Walker born 3 July 1858 in Clun(e)y,Aberdeenshire. He was a police constable in Edinburgh round about 1880's. He married a lady called Catherine McIver in 1883 and they subsequently had 7 children. Ann,John,Mary,Catherine,Margaret,Hector and William Alexander...unfortunately his wife died young and he subsequently married a lady called Annie Scott. He died in 1927 At East Grey Street(?) in Edinburgh. Would love to know what happened to the children as all searches in New Register House have drawn a blank! Thanks in anticipation! |
