Hi all you Clark searchers I have now found my John Clark and have his fathers name of Joseph he is listed as deceased on the marraige certificate and as a mechanic I can not find any mechanics in the 1901 census. I am told his family disowned John when he married my grandmother so perhaps saying he was deceased was a fabrication on there part.My Granfather John died in sept 1917 at sea. No family is listed on the memorial site My granfarther lived in Colne Lanckashire at the time of his marriage. Any help in locating Josephs home and his wife's name would be appreciated. |
