I am trying to find information on Alfred Walker who was born in Alcester in 1906. His parents were John Walker 1871 and Alice Hunt 1871c. They were living in redditch and had 4 other children before alfred named, Elsie, Hilda, Harold and John. They must have relocated to alcester just before alfred was born. Alfred married a Joyce Elizabeth Lightfoot in 1944 and had 4 children together, keith, lawrence, mark and faith. However, i am led to believe he was previosly married (sometime in the 1930's), and they had two other children who the family lost contact with. I am looking for information that anyone may know about this. They also had a furniture shop in either Alcester or hereford but im not sure if this was Alfreds or his fathers John if that helps with anyones connection. |
