GEORGE BELL I am trying to find George Bell, born sometime around 1830-60. I know that his son James Bell, born 1869-70, married Mary Ann Emma Swan in the Mile End area of London in 1889. George may have been the manager or have worked at the Grand Hotel in Edinburgh, although he was described as a time-keeper at the time of his son's marriage. He apparently had a Jewish wife, whose first name was Isabella. I would be very grateful to hear from anyone who recognises any of this. |
