Member Since: February 2007 Posts: 14 Send Message	audrey ashby Searching for Septimus Davis a private in the 28th regiment of foot (gloucester regiment) bn. possibly in the early 1850s in the Coventry area. He married Mary Ann (maiden name unknown) in Ireland. Their daughter Louisa was born on board ship 'The Forefarshire' 8th November 1876 on the way to Hong Kong. Would appreciate more info on their marriage and any other info. I have not found him in the army records at Kew and don't know when/where he died. There were other children (names unknown)
