LILY KATHLEEN KNIGHT (DOB c 1894) WAS MARRIED TO MY GGRANDFATHER FREDERICK RICHARD LEES (DOB MAR 1882-he is shown on their wedding certificate as Richard Lees). THEY LIVED IN THE GOSPORT AREA OF HAMPSHIRE. THEY HAD TWO (POSSIBLY THREE) CHILDREN, KATHLEEN (BORN c1920) AND LEONARD (BORN c1923 AND DIED IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR). FREDERICK/RICHARD MARRIED LILY IN 1918. FREDERICK WAS PREVIOUSLY MARRIED AND HAD THREE BOYS THAT I KNOW OF. THE ELDEST DIED AGED 11, THE YOUNGEST DIED AT 9 HOURS AND THE MIDDLE ONE WAS MY GRANDFATHER, WHO DIED IN 1975. MY GRANDFATHER DROPPED THE 'S' FROM HIS SURNAME, THUS MAKING US LEE. I WOULD DEARLY LOVE TO CONTACT KATHLEEN, OR HER DESCENDANTS. |
