Jackson: Seeking ancestors/family of Isabella Jackson (1779-c1820) born at Nenthorn, Berwickshire, d/o Henry Jackson (b.1742) of Sprouston, Roxburghshire and Christina Laidley/Laidlaw/Laidley (b.1750) of Kelso, Roxburghshire, and grand daughter of John Jackson (b. c1717) and Margaret Pringle (b.1715) of Sprouston. Isabella Jackson married (1801) Thomas Forsythe (1782-1820/21), s/o James Forsythe (b.1759) of Nenthorn, Berwickshire and Jean Minto (b.1761) of Kelso, Roxburghshire. Thomas and Isabella Forsythe emigrated to Lanark County, Ontario, Canada in 1820 through the Bridgetown Atlantic Society. |
