im hoping that someone reading this may have info on my missing link in my tree as ive come to a big halt. the info im looking for is on a FLORENCE ELLEN WRIGHT...elderly family members remember her being called FLORENCE ELLEN NOLAN-WRIGHT. she was born in 1884 in london,but in 1913 she got married twice in the same 1/4. her first hubby was EDWARD T SHERWOOD,who died in that 1st quarter as well and was about 22/23yrs old. she then went on to marry a JAMES HENRY WALKER in march 1913. FLORENCE & JAMES went on to have 5children... JAMES ALBERT WALKER 1916 FLORENCE MAY WALKER 1917 ELLEN LAURA JESSICA WALKER 1919 DORIS ETHEL WALKER 1922 EILEEN MARY WALKER 1924 all 5 of their children were born on the IOW,JAMES,ELLEN & FLORENCE were born in WOOTEN,IOW & DORIS & EILEEN were born in EAST COWES,IOW. Im not sure where the NOLAN came in to the family but apparently a member of her family had something to do with THE HOUSE OF NOLAN,KILLARNEY,IRELAND. if any one can shed any light on any of the female children of the marriage--marriages/deaths or on FLORENCE and the surnames she used or on EDWARD T SHERWOOD id be most grateful. ali |
