linda cox [nee allen] 08.03.2007 hi i have recently started my family tree and would like some help finding out about my dads family.so far i know that my dads parents were called winifred baskett and ernest allen.they had several children who were edgar allen,vernon ,millie,sylvia,jesse,david[my dad],arthur,sam,maureen and albert.my dad was born in poole in dorset and i know uncle edgar was born in wimbourne dorset.ernest and winifred were married 1915 in dorset.my dad was david norman allen and he married my mother marjorie bryan.i know auntie maureen committed suicide in her 20s,sam or fred lived in manchester and albert emigrated to australia.think auntie sylvia was married to a man called bob from london area.we also have reason to believe that winifred and ernest were connected to romany gypsys.not sure if it is true.thank you any help gratefully recieved.xx |
