Robertsons from HAMILTON and LARK HALL, Lanarkshire I would really like to be in touch with anyone who is descended from Robertsons from Hamilton or Lark Hall. The line I am searching is: 1. William Robertson m. 1779, Margaret LOUDON children: Elisabeth, b. 1780, m. John LANG 2. William Robertson, b. 1784 m. Janet ADAMS children: Helen, b. 1823 Margaret, b. 1826 Alexander, b. 1822 m. 1) Ann FLAIN/FLANE 2) Janet NAISMITH 3. William Robertson, b. 1831 m. Janet BENNET nee CAMPBELL. This family emigrated to Canada. I believe some of Alexander's descendants may still live in Hamilton or Lark Hall, in particular of Peter McNair Robertson, b. 1857; Alexander b. c. 1843, m. Barbara Wilson (dau. of John Wilson & Liles Thomson); and William Robertson, b.c. 1841. |
