Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 7 Send Message	John Evans born New York, USA 1851. Parents William Evans, serving soldier, 2nd Batt. Rifle Brigade stationed at Halifax, Nova Scotia born 1817 Gloucester, and Ann ? born 1818 Scotland. 1881 census he is unmarried and living in lodgings at 117-121 Tabard St. Southwark and working as a labourer. Does anyone know what happened to him? He is my grandfather's uncle.
