Hi my name is Gillian Ann Edwards born 22nd May 1954 at Hommerton Hospital Hackney. My mother was a Gladys Kathleen Edwards she was married to a Hubert Edwards of 52 Camden Square, St Pancras I have a sister Carolyn Dorothy Edwards. born 1944 . Our mother died in childbirth having me . My sister was adopted by a Charles Percy Goddard of Guildford Surrey and went there to live.He was our mothers brother, after I was born and my mother died I was adopted also by the same person. I was told that we also had a brother possibly called Michael, he would have been older that us, Michael although his name could have changed went to live in Wales with his Grandparents on his fathers side, we have never met. We were told that when the last Commonwealth Games were held in wales. our brother carred the torch through the town. Anyone with any info I would be pleased to hear from you. Can I just add that my sister and I's surname became Goddard when we were adopted. When I married my surname became Edwards again strangely enough. So was born Edwards then became Goddard and then Edwards again. Also my sisters father and my father was not Hubert Edwards, we do not have our fathers names. Hope someone has some Info for us
