Looking for anyone with an interest in the following BELL's. David BELL married Elizabeth MILLAR (somewhere in Ireland) Their son; David BELL married Catherine McKIE (possibly Kirkmaiden, Scotland) 4 children: John BELL born 29/01/1828 Logan, Wigtown, Scotland Agnes BELL bap. 20/06/1830 Kirkmaiden by Drummore, Scotland David BELL bap. 14/07/1833 Kirkmaiden by Drummore, Scotland Jane BELL born c1836 married John McKAY 01/06/1854 had 5 children, Elizabeth Borlan 1858, John 1859, Mary 1862, Margaret Agnew 1865 & Jane 1868. My connection John c1828 married Jane Jackson and emigrated to Australia in 1859. If any of this sounds familiar to you I would love to hear from you Donna |

I have a John McKay who married a Jane Bell (from parish death record) . He was born to Archibald McKay and Mary Dick in Antrim, Ireland ca 1835 but emigrated to Wigtownshire Scotland before 1851 and died there in Leswalt in 1883. No furthur info at present. A likely match!!?? |
