My ancestress Sarah Rees nee Jones c1819-97 b Llandovery had a younger sister Margaret who went into service with an Emglish aristocrat, was apparently jilted by a footman, stayed in service and rose to be 'Lady housekeeper'-my grandmothers incredibly snobbish phrase- and lived to be over 90,not dying till 1915.We cant find her will, but my grandmother and her siblings got their legacies on Nov 4th 1915.Does this ring any bells with anyone?
Many thanks
Alan
