Trying to find information and/descendents on my mothers side. Anyone with Wards in Hertford in Hertfordshire on their tree may have people in common. Frederick J Ward born 1859 Elizabeth Ward (his wife: I don't know her maiden name) 1860 Both born in Ware near Hertford Their children Oliver 1895 Daisy 1898 Richard - 1901 (my grandfather) Rose 1903 - possibly The girls died from diptheria in adolescence and Elizabeth remarried taking on the surname Gay and moved to Tottenham. I would like to know if my mother has any half brothers and sisters. Their father is Richard Ward (as above) He never married my Grandmother Elsie Jones or Davies (depending on which name she had then) with whom he lived in Edmonton and had three daughters. He certainly did have other children in the area who would now be in their 70s/80s. We think they may have lived in Tottenham Any thoughts or help will be much appreciated |
