I am trying to find details on Mary Elizabeth Walker who was born in January 1899 in Northern Ireland. She was my maternal grandmother who moved to Scotland and married my grandfather Ernest Holcombe in Glasgow. Her father was called John and her mother was called Helen or Ellen. Her father is listed as a dock walker on her wedding certificate. I understand she had a brother also called John and one called Andrew who emigrated to New Zealand after WW2 - he had a daughter Anita who would not be in her late forties/early fifties. Any small piece of infomation would be welcome. |
