My great great great grandparents were William Lee b 1816 in Stockport, Cheshire and Jane Gill b 1820 in Beckley, Sussex. Both families immigrated to NSW Australia in the 1830s and William and Jane married in 1839. I am connected to this family in two ways. My maternal great grandmother was Isabella Cavanagh b 1879 in Taree NSW (daughter of Susannah Lee and John Alfred Cavanagh). Also my great aunt Clara Honeyman b 1853 married Daniel Lee in 1875 (Susannah's brother). I am interested in making contact with anyone connected to the Lee/Gill family but in particular descendants of Isabella Cavanagh and her husband Charles Rickard, also Clara Honeyman and her husband Daniel Lee. Regards Karen Richardson. |
