I was hoping that someone out there might be able to help. Mr. C. Michael Lewis was a distinguished cameraman during WWII and continued to work in the field for Pathe and, it is believed, BBC. I believe my late Aunt was a good friend of his and I was looking forward to finding him. Unfortunately, he has passed. Here are the details of the funeral that hold the only clues I have: Lewis, Mike: On April 8th, 1986 at home. Beloved husband of Lis, father of Caroline, Jeffrey, and Helen, father-in-law of John and Bid, grandfather of Daniel, Toby, Rebekah, Benji, Andrew and Jenny, brother of Nancy. Loved by us all. Lewis - The funeral service for Mike Lewis will be held in the chapel of Norwood Park Crematorium (tomorrow) Friday at 10:30 a.m. Canberra Funeral Directors Kingston ((ACT)) 952799 Mike Lewis lived at 134 Belconnen Way, Scullin ACT at the time of his death. Would love to hear from anyone who has a connection to Michael. Regards, Karen (schell.k-m @ sympatico.ca) |
