Im trying to trace my mums side of the family who i know so little about. My mums maiden name is Jacqueline Elizabeth Cooper born July 1959. Her mum is Valerie Farr (maiden name Cooper), i believe was born around 1940. Valerie's parents were Charles Cooper and Melinda Beatrice Cooper, (I dont know what my great nans maiden name was, so if you could help with that along with her date of birth, that would be great too!). I believe Charles was born around 1900, i am not sure of this though. They had a number of children together, 4 boys and 2 girls, named Valerie and Brenda. Brenda dies at a young age, but this is all i know. Charles had a brother as well who was lost in the first world war when their ship was bombed, luckily Charles escaped though. Does anyone have any information on his brother as well? Any other membes of our family that you can remember or have details of? The whole family seems to have always been based in the Gosport area, and i am aware that some of my great uncles still live in that area still. I appreciaite your time and help. thanks Sarah |
