GERTRUDE MAUDE JONES Hi. I'm probably trying to do the impossible! I would love if someone had any information on my relative Gertrude Maude Jones. I have only the scantest information. I know she was living somewhere in the Ruthin area around 1929/1930. I think she may have been working in a nursing home or hospital in this locality at this time. She gave birth to my mother in 1930, probably without the knowledge of her family. I imagine she was unmarried at this time as there is no father named on my Mums Birth Certificate and she put my Mum into the care of a local family.. She described her occupation as a 'sick nurse'. I would love if anyone thinks she may have been related to them or knew her to get in touch. I onlyseek this information for sentimental reasons. Thanks to all who read this. |
