Trying to find Wood

Herbert Frederick Wood (dec'd). . I am trying to find any relatives of Herbert Frederick Wood dec'd (usually known as Frederick Wood or 'Bertie'), born circa 1882 in Lawril Pinler, India. His last known address was 17 Montague Street, I believe in the London borough of Holborn. He died pre 1935 and was a Captain of the 9th Lancers (I believe his wife was Ethel Mary Wood nee Hogg, a company director born circa 1877/8). I also believe his father was David E. Wood born London circa 1853 and his mother Clara born circa 1860. He had at least one child, a daughter named Clemency Meara who married George Dobson in 1942. The marriage was short lived and Clemency subsequently had at least 3 children with another man plus a fourth child in December 1954 which was given up for adoption. I would be grateful if anyone has any information whatsoever. |
