Stephen George EDWARDS I am trying to locate descendants of the Edwards family from Somerton in Somerset. This was a large family so I am hoping I'm not the only one researching them! Stephen George EDWARDS married Hannah PALMER in 1866 and lived in West Street, Somerton before moving to St Cleers, Somerton. Hannah died in 1893 while the family was still in St Cleers. Stephen later remarried and moved to Charlton Mackrell, there were no children from this second marriage. Stephen George and Hannah had 12 children. Some moved to the Brigend and Ogmore Vale areas of Wales c1890 onwards while a couple went to Australia. Surnames associated with Stephen's children include COX, ROBERTS, WILKINSON, MARTIN, LAVIS, RAYSON. I hope someone here sees a connection to their Edwards'! Lynda (nee EDWARDS) |
