I am trying to find moores around the Dudley/Kidderminster/Bedwellty areas. My Grandfather - Henry Philip Greens mother was called Lily (possibly lillian) Moore from either dudley or Merthyr - she was born before her parents were married i am led to believe. she died in kiddermintser c1966, had been married twice once to someone called Green (yet to trace) then to Ted Sullivan. lillian/Lily Moore had two siblings - Harold Moore (possibly Harry) and William Joseph (he wsa actually my step nans dad). I am lefd to beleive Harold may have emigrated to Vancouver, Canada william Married in wales, registration office seems to be Bedwellty though i beleive they lived in the Bettws-Y-coed area. Produced 6 children - 5 girls (doris May 1925, Iris, Lillian Edna Betty, florence June. and a boy (william Christopher moore). Some may have been born Merthyr. any help greatly appreciated |
