I am trying to find any information on WILLIAM HUNTER TAYLOR b.1865 in the Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire area and was a miner. His father was BENJAMIN TAYLOR. (Farmer) William was married and widowed before he moved up to Sunderland between 1902 and 1905 where he met my great grandmother. I have no information about his life before he met my great gran and only have the word of his marriage certificate that he was indeed widowed (It was not uncommon for men just to walk out on wives and move to another area) although it is most likely he was widowed. I do not know if there were any children from his first marriage or even if he had any siblings. Does any of this ring a bell? WILLIAM HUNTER TAYLOR b.1865 BENJAMIN TAYLOR (Father) b. 1835 ish |
