I am trying to trace more on my dads family history he was Edward William Brown and hw was born in Hampton Middlesex His dad was Sydney Albert Brown and his Mother was Ellen Irwin he was one of eight children Phillip, George, Leonard , Ellen, Clara, and Doris. I know that Sydney Albert was born in Yeovil and his parents were George Brown and Adelaide Martin and his brothers and sisters were Arthur, Frank, Walter, Ethel, Fred, and Ada, His mother Adelaide died when he was quite young and he spent sometime in the Yeovil workhouse with his brothers and sisters. George Brown was born in Salisbury and was the son of Richard Brown and Anne Pelly his sisters were Sarah Victoria and Adelaide. If anyone can help me I would like to hear from them |
