JOHN WILLIS LEWIS A.K.A. JACK LEWIS I'm looking for any siblings of my maternal grandfather or their descendants. My grandfather's name was John Willis Lewis and he was born in BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND, on the 27th July 1911. According to records his parents were living at 73, Worcester Street, Birmingham at the time. His parents were WILLIAM WILLIS LEWIS and ELIZABETH COLLIER. He married Ella Dorothy Hearn in Fulford, York in 1939. He was in the army, serving in the 3rd Royal Hussars I believe. He was nicknamed Snowy because of his white hair and people generally called him Jack, not John. He had two daughters, Dorothy Elizabeth and Susan Patricia, the latter being my mother. My mum can remember the name of only one brother, her uncle Joe, but she knows there were several siblings. She's keen to locate any of them who might still be alive, although this is unlikely, and any of her cousins or other relatives. John's father, William Willis Lewis, born December 1878, in Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. His father was Willis Lewis, born June 1848, Birmingham, England. Willis's father was Benjamin Lewis, born 1824 in Birmingham, England. Any information would be greatly appreciated and anyone who wishes to see my family tree to help complete their own is more than welcome to contact me.
