I have recently discovered the maiden name of my great grandmother which was Ellen Elizabeth Cox c1871, her father was George James Cox. Ellen married George Uridge c1870 and they moved to South Africa, they had 3 sons and one daughter. George Uridge was killed in an accident whilst living in South Africa and the family moved back to the UK to live in Acton, London. This is all the information I can find on Ellen Cox and her father George. I would be delighted to hear from anyone who may have information on this family. |
