trying to trace any info into my husbands maternal grandfathers family.his name was George Edwin Lee-born 24/02/1902 in Worksop,Nottingham-[i think] i think he had 1 brother and 2 sisters.his fathers name was Tom or Thomas Lee and his mother was Alice Arnold,but this could have been his step-mother.apparently he didnot get on with his stepmother and left home at the age of 14years. he joined the Royal Flying Corps and married my husbands grandmother in Sept 1/4 1926. they had 2 girls- Kathleen and Audrey- my husbands mother.they ended up living in Tamworth Staffordshire. Can anybody help me His name was George Edward Lee not Edwin.Any info would be helpful even if it is a shot in the dark. |
