I am trying to find details of my paternal grandmother Elizabeth Wright (nee Benson) who was born in Lancashire in about 1890. She married Alexander Wright in Clitheroe, Lancashire in 1911 and they had three children, Josephine, William and Frank. My grandparents separated just after the First World War and my grandmother Elizabeth emigrated to Sydney, Australia probably with an Australian called Alec Mitchell. Alec Mitchell had been serving in England during the war. If anyone has any knowledge of her in Australia I would love to hear from you. I am also trying to find out what happened to my aunt Josephine Wright who was born in Clitheroe, Lancashire in 1911. She may have joined her mother in Australia, but we are not sure. She could also have gone to live in the London area. Can anyone help with the above? |
