to find history of jane davies (my grandmother)born WINGATE DURHAM 1876c and married john CALLAN about 1898 - they lived in KELLOE and then NEWBIGGIN had lots of children john elizabeth enoch william lillian and more her mother ELIZA who first married a JOHN DAVIES and then a JOHN HUGHES eliza from HOLYWELL born about 1858 - esclusham and john DAVIES from WREXHAM born about 1848 JOHN HUGHES ABOUT 1865 also esclusham ELIZA maiden name was also DAVIES her parents were JAMES DAVIES C 1835 Holywell and BARBARA JONES 1839 they married in 1857 she had jane mary richard and dorothy by JOHN DAVIES and enoch c 1895 james 1891 and john thomas 1890 by JOHN HUGHES also i can find no records for JOHN DAVIES her first husband except wedding updated: john hughes shows on their wedding certificate as JOHN HUGHES JONES - born esclusham as well james davies was the son of a john davies b 1810 holywell area and a jane born llanyngale other childres born between 1837 and 48 are sarah samuel mary mark john and jane name is sometimes as DAVIS barbara jones parents are richard and barbara barbara's maiden name is abraham/s/abram/s shows on childs birth certificate as abraham eliza has a sister harriet who i have traced to living relatives.
