CLARA EDWARDS I’m looking for my grandmother’s family. Her name was Clara Edwards , she was born in Manchester on Sept. 2, 1873. She married my grandfather (Charles Browning) in New York City, USA on Feb. 11,1909. My father (Charles Joseph Browning) was born Dec. 29, 1909 there, as well as my aunt (Clara Browning) Feb. 14, 1912. The family immigrated to Canada (1913) settling in Manitoba, Canada, where my uncle (Albert Browning) was born Oct. 10, 1914. I believe she had a brother James Edwards. I have no idea why she was in New York City or how she got there or when she left England. Hope someone can help me. Bernice (Browning) Smith |
