Hello, I'm looking for information or anyone connected with a WALTER THOMAS HUGHES, November 1913 in the Ripe / Hailsham / Polegate / Eastbourne area . I believe his father was WALTER HUGHES and his mother was FANNY STEVENS. I know WALTER THOMAS HUGHES was married at least three times to : EIDER ELIZABETH , MURIEL LILY JOHNSON ( my grandmother ) and RITA NORMA MURIEL . I don't know the maiden names of two of his wives. Thanks. |

You have given me some valuable information on some of my family. My great grandad was Walter Hughes of Ripe, my grandfather William was born in Ripe in 1915, My uncle Tom ( you have him as Walter Thomas Hughes) was his brother born in Firle. Uncle Tom died in Priesthawes Stone Cross. I knew his last wife Rita who had children Susan, Mary and Jancine. Tom and Bill (as my grandad was known) had two sisters Bessie and Emily. |
