I have just found out that I have connections to a ROBERT LEE born 1839 in LLANFYLLIN. He married a lady called ELIZABETH (sorry, no dates) and they had 6 children (to the best of my knowledge), they are:- MARGARET b 1861 ELIZABETH b 1870 DAVID b 1864 JAMES b 1866 ROBERT b 1868 CHARLES b 1875 I found James again on a later cenus, he married a lady called ELIZABETH (again no date) and they appear to be the guardians of a young boy called BERTRAM JOINSON b 1892 who is listed as a nephew. Robert Lee is listed as the grandson of WILLIAM and MARGARET FFOULKES of Llanfyllin in the 1881 Wales cenus. However, there does not seem to be a reference to any other person called Lee living with the family at that time. Any information very gratefully received. Thank you. |
