can some one please help? my grandfather was born 13.11.1912 his name was james wilson robertson. his birth place was alva scotland but he grew up in alloa clackmannanshire scotland. i never knew his mother or fathers names but i know james was one of 8 children, some of their names being nellie, davey, isa, george, alec, john. i know there are still living relatives in alloa.i think there may be a link to patterson and taylor surnames in the alloa area.my grandad moved down to england (west midlands) where he met my nan sarah winifred fryer. they married around 1943. my grandad sadly passed away 31.12.1997. my nan passed away in 2004. if this means anything to anyone please contact me as i really want to do my family tree for the scottish link for my mom. thanks, kate |
