Thank goodness my family tree has gone well because researching my husband's is a nightmare. I can only go back two generations. Dr: Thomas Sydney Davies--married Ada Blackett---he died in Lockhart N S W Aussie in 1920. My father-in-law Frederick Collins Davies was their son--he was born in 1900 and died 1972. He married Ida Maude Clarke. Family folk lore tells us we are decended from Lewis David of Lleuchgwyn and Dr; Davies came out to Australia with his parents as a child and they settled in Melbourne. I have only just discovered the computer and found this site by accident and as a senior citizan it is all a matter of discovery. Looking forward to may-be receiving a reply on the Davies page. Cheers from the land down under. |
