Hi My name is Mari and I am trying to find out any information that I can about my great grandfather and his family. His name was John Thomas and he lived at Maescadwlr Farm, Llangwynd during the 1920's. He died at the farm in June 1931. He was married to Ann (nee Prosser?) They had a few children, Catherine Jane (my grandmother), Maud, Margaret and Rebecca who both died in infancy) Sarah, Mary and some sons. On the 1901 Census John Thomas was a license vitullar, keeping the White Hart Inn (Behind the Church in Llan). Catherine Jane Thomas married and her married name was Jenkins. She had one son (Thomas John, my father). Catherine and her husband lived at Gelli Las Ucaf Farm, Coytrahen. Mary married a Major and had two sons, THomas John and Morgan. They lived at Castell Farm, Llangwynd. Any information at all would be most welcome.. |
