Hi there I am trying to trace a C.G.Baker. He was known to my ancestors and I believe served with one of them, A.G.Smeeth in France in WW1 as he sent a letter regarding this relations grave back to the family in Plymouth, England. He was possibly from the south/south west of england and may have been in the royal naval volunteer reserve, or one of the band regiments. I know this is a long shot but if anyone knows anything please could you get in touch.Thankyou Regards Kirsty |
