Hi. I am trying to find Henry Parker, Occupation Sinker [Miner or weaving trade etc] who died before 1903. Daughter Mary Ann Parker born inthe 1880's. Mary Ann married Herbert Wm. Marwood in 1903 Hartlepool. [The above info was on her Marriage Cert.} Mary Ann gave birth to Violet Taler in Hartlepool, 1902. she was living at 9 Turnbull St. W.Hartlepool. The person Living at that address in the 1901 Census was Jane Parker, born ashley-de la Zouch. After Marring Herbert Marwood, Violet dies under the name of Violet Taylor Marwood in 1904. Not much is known about Mary Ann, accept she always claimed to be Fostered. Her story goes that her Father Henry died young and her Mother ran away to perform on the stage, Mary Ann never mentioned any siblings. She was My Grandmother and a very good story teller. Would love to know more. Joan. |
